Trevor H Flanagan BSc (Hons), PhD

Trevor has 32 years of international experience with ICI Pharmaceuticals, Synthélabo and the Wellcome Foundation. During his career he has worked in R & D, project management, business development, global regulatory affairs and strategic marketing. His major interest is in the establishment of effective teams to ensure that product development is focused towards meeting market needs and the global business needs of the company.

Whilst with Wellcome he was Strategic Business Manager for a number of therapeutic areas including: CVF, CNS, anaesthetics cancer, inflammatory diseases (including respiratory) and critical care. He was closely involved in the formulation of the company strategy and ensuring its implementation through his membership of the Portfolio Review Committee.

On leaving Wellcome, he established his own independent consultancy, Chêne Pharma, and joined Premark in 1996. He has been a non-executive director of Phytopharm Plc since April 1996.
